CelTox Sampler System Overview

We developed a new line of in vitro exposure systems to satisfy the demand for New Approach Methodologies (NAMs). Our in vitro exposure systems simplify the process for conducting exposure of cells at the air-liquid interface (ALI). These systems were designed with the user in mind by providing a versatile design, small foot-print, and effective delivery of test articles onto cultured cells.

SMALL FOOTPRINT – Our compact design allows for use on a bench-top, lab cart, or inside a hood.
EASY SETUP – Unpacking and setup of the system with all the connections takes <30 minutes!
MINIMAL TRAINING – All operational parameters are preset, with easy to follow step-by-step procedures provided in the User’s Manual.

Temperature Regulated

The heated enclosure houses the exposure chamber and maintains a 37°C environment.

Humidity Regulated

A unique humidifier warms and moistens the air to maintain cell viability and integrity intact. The humidifier does not dilute the test atmosphere.

Gas / Particle Exposure

Efficient delivery of gases onto cells and enhanced particle deposition is achieved with the use of electrostatic precipitation.

Various Multi-well Formats

Accommodates various multi-well formats using our custom multi-well plates or standard disposable plates.

CelTox Sampler Components

The Heated Enclosure is the cornerstone of the CelTox Sampler. It maintains a 37°C environment to ensure physiological relevance and cell viability during air-liquid interface studies. It serves as a critical fail-safe by preventing condensation in high-humidity exposure conditions while ensuring consistent, reproducible incubator-like conditions.
We offer a versatile range of exposure chambers, acknowledging that no single design can meet every experimental demand. This modular approach allows researchers to select optimized configurations tailored to their specific pollutants. Whether optimizing for aerosol deposition or VOC delivery, our chambers ensure maximum precision for every study.
Maintaining a proper viable environment with high relative humidity levels for the cells is key for successful air-liquid interface (ALI) exposures. To avoid cellular damage due to desiccation, our in-line diffusion humidifiers offer a user-friendly solution.
While high humidity levels are critical for maintaining cell viability upstream, working at these conditions can lead to condensation in wetted surfaces downstream. To eliminate condensation issues downstream and to protect sensitive equipment, we provide user-friendly Standard and Diffusion Dryers.
We offer an advanced suite of integrated monitoring tools for precise temperature regulation and high-accuracy in-line sensors for real-time tracking of sampled air conditions. For researchers requiring precise monitoring of aerosol dose, our TRAC Sensors enables direct, real-time quantification of particle deposition.
